page 3 says that you should have been fined $350. The brochure is from 2007 though. Looks like they charged you double demerits even though it's not a double demerits time period.

that makes the $68 parking fine insignificant by comparison.

The worst part was that I had debated going to work at all. I decided work had an AC of 20, and I got a +3 to attack for my sore throat, but I rolled a freakin' 7.

what's your base attack? clearly you need a boost on that. i suggest taking a few levels in warshaper, from complete warrior as a prestige class.

The Work monster is immune to bonuses to base attack.

well, there goes that idea. (although warshaper is a pretty awesome prestige class. i wanted to take a few levels in it with my druid, but our dm said it was ridiculously over powered and i needed some nerfs already D:)

Oh, I should mention that if you take the Consultant prestige class, you CAN use your BAB against Work.

What about the CEO prestige class?

Technically, the CEO doesn't have to fight.

Dude, I speed, but even *I* think 130ks is excessive. The most I've been pinged for was about 18ks over.

It was actually 112 in the 80 zone at the end before the bridge going down to the freeway.

I think the cop was pissed that he had to chase me.

Yeah going to have to go with Jacinta on this one, most I ever did semi regularly (On purpose) was 15 over.
you know in Melbourne I don't have that issue half the time its hard enough getting to the speed limit :P
But mostly I think thats due to congestion and shitty roads.

*shakes head*

There are times and there are places, man. 700 is well excessive, but you know, you've no-one to blame but yourself.

And this is coming from someone who'se been done for 9km over three times (i drive on the cusp of what's affordable), 18km one time, and done for a DUI.

Learn to pre-empt the cunts. Keep tabs on them - they keep them on you, after all.

I always speed up to 8 or 9 kms over. This way when I get caught I only pay $75. The way I can justify it is that I pay $75 once every couple of years for the right to drive faster than some people. It is like a subscription fee.

I don't think I speed to get places quicker though. I think it is because if I am going faster than the other drivers that I see then I feel like I am "beating" them and it gives me a little touch of psychological happiness boost.

Stupid, I know.

The fastest I have ever gone is 160, but that was when I was in America, and I was going 100 on a freeway when I suddenly realised that the speed limit was 75, and 100 miles per hour is actually 160 k/h.

I then slowed right down.

I was doing 110 because I was running late. Id just overtaken a bunch of cars and then... yeah.

Normally I do 10 over, although Ill go on up to 20 over in certain places where I think it will be okay. That stretch is one of the few places Ill go 20 over where there is a major risk of getting pinged. Being 32 over was me letting out some frustration at running late, and now Ill be paying for it.

Its a fair cop, its just a huge amount of money.

I was running late. And I was doing 112, which is not unreasonable on a straight stretch of road with no traffic in front of you.
