It is not tailgating to drive close to the car in front of you if that car is doing below the speed limit and there are no overtaking opportunities.

How close? I hate drivers getting all up in my arse and I have slammed the breaks on just to give them the shits. Would you hit me?

I do that too, but I dont generally drive below the speed limit. If Im speeding and you're tailgating me, Ill slow down to the speed limit (or slower, if I can trap you next to someone else).

If you slammed them on to a full-stop, probably. I dont have ABS. If you jolted the breaks to scare me, no.

It is still tailgating. Just because the person infront is being a douche does not justify the second person being a douche also, however frustrating it may be.

Tailgating is defined by distance, not speed! In other words, no.

You need to be 2 seconds behind them, no ifs or butts if I am going slow and you get up my arse (Not that I am typically driving slow) I will go slower.
