Accepted, and bonus points for a girl, but her work wasn't really as groundbreaking as evolution, was it?

I mean, if you had gone for Gregor Mandel, I might be tempted...

I suppose there's always the stand-by of James Watson and Francis Crick, who used x-ray crystallography data provided by Rosalind Franklin to elucidate the structure of DNA...

Or Carl Linnaeus.
